How to network together the computers and set up the printer?
Do you have a LAN ? If so, you need to make sure that all three PCs
have user account on the Domain Server. It is recommended that the User
Account match that of the PCs login ID and Password. This makes it easier
for the individual to reconnect to the shared drive at login. If your
local area network (LAN) is MS Windows NT, then get the name of your
server (domain name) to map your drive on the PCs. To map the drive go to
Windows Explorer and select tools from the menu, then select map network
drive, then select the drive letter such as F, G, H, etc…, then type in
your server name "\\Networkname", Also type in the User ID of
the PC, make sure the reconnect at login is checked, then click on OK.
This should map the network drive on the PC. You have to do this to all
the three PC. It is recommended to keep the drive letter the same on all
the three PCs. This will give all three PCs access to the Network drive.
Then you can store the shared file out there for all the three PCs to
access it.
