| This Publication Converter lets you convert Quark XPress®
publications created on the Windows platform to Adobe PageMaker 6.0 publications. The
converter cannot convert documents created in the Macintosh version of Quark XPress®, or
documents saved as EPS files. To convert documents created on the Macintosh platform,
you must open and then re-save the document using the Windows version of Quark XPress®.
The Publication Converter lets you convert one document at a time, or convert a group of
documents at once. The amount of time it takes to convert a document depends on your
computer configuration and on the size and complexity of the document. The main screen
is used to display the list of selected files and the conversion progress:
File List

Files command. The path corresponding to the currently selected file name is shown on the
status bar at the bottom.

Pages represents the number of pages in the source publication.
Version represents the version of the source publication.
